Singer and actress and writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the team on One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The show showcased her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Her follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. Her decade ended with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside several singles from her non-album album. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices was released. Born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music. Later, she would make a record career, but she started her career as a performer, who made her screen debut in the indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. Kramer was a guest on episodes on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer became a part of the cast on CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, which was half way into. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer was signed to a contract as a singer for her record label Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary love song for country music I Won't Give up on a 2011 episode in One Tree Hill. The song was released in 2012. it came out on Jana Kramer - her first album. This song landed in Billboard's Top Country Albums chart, which is in the Top Five. In the meantime, she focused on her career in music, Kramer continued acting and appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) as well as Country Crush 2016 (which would draw her fans of music). Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released on Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith helped the album to achieve even greater success and landed at the third position at the top of the Billboard 200. In September she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth place. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary smash with"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
