Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Elis Taylor is actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. She is best known as a film actress for her performances on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a writer and American actor active in the theatre in film, television, and theatre. She started her career as an actress in theatre and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV series, mainstream and independent films. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. On BET's massive show The Book of Negroes she was a character. She did not only be praised by critics for her performance, but she also received a few awards and nominations. She began her career as an actor in the year 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. The credits on stage are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Film-wise her most well-known roles are performances such as Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Her work in television she has been praised for her performance as a regular character on ABC's police drama High Incident.
